INTRODUCINGIP CAMERAS & SERVERS

July 13, 2006
Greenville, RI USA/ Uden, Netherlands:

Videology Imaging Solutions expands its video imaging capabilities with the introduction of i–NETSTREAM, a series of high quality, reasonably priced Ethernet IP addressable products. “We chose to wait until we got it just right,” said company president Carol Ethier, referring to Videology’s intentionally delayed entry into the Ethernet market.

Videology’s i–NETSTREAM camera model number 20N758 utilizes both MJPEG and MPEG4 compression formats to achieve the best images under all environments: MPEG4 for bandwidth limited higher speed applications and MJPEG for highest resolution. The progressive scan Sony WfineCCD™ assures pure VGA color resolution and sensitivity as low as 0.75 lux. The camera accepts all CS mount auto iris lenses. An audio feature is precisely synchronized to the video.

The camera housing is a compact solid metal security style that has classic acceptance in the security industry. In addition to the digital RJ45 connector, a separate analog BNC output aids security installers for quick and accurate lens field of view setups as well as general operational checks during the installation process. LED indicators for power and network connection assist in fast troubleshooting.

An SD Card port built into the 20N758 can accept memory cards up to 1 Gigabyte. Built-in motion-detection has pre- and post-alarm image buffering. USB transfer is possible. Timestamp and MJPEG watermark features are easily enabled.

Operation is 10/100mbps and 30fps @ CIF. Supported protocols are TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP, UDP, SNTP, ICMP, DDNS, DNS, UPnP, PPPoE, and ARP. Firmware updates can be implemented via network connections. Application software is available for up to 64 cameras. RS232 and RS485 controls allow for various alarm-trigger modes including PTZ control. Up to 96 motion-detection areas can be set per camera.

The i–NETSTREAM single channel server, model SV11A-M4 is MPEG-4 with audio. It converts analog video of CCTV cameras to full resolution IP Ethernet out. It is 10/100 baseT, has serial and PTZ control, adjustable image sizes & bit-rate vs quality. It has time stamp and text overlay and has 3 motion detection windows. A four channel server with an additional codec of MJPEG will be released soon.

Videology welcomes all media and OEM inquiries.
