Videology Imaging Solutions introduces the 20B44, an ultra-small 14mm x 14mm CMOS VGA Color Board Camera with applications in security, industrial and environmentally demanding OEM markets. The CMOS 1/4 inch VGA imager is a ruggedized BGA package specified for temperature ranges of negative 30 to 80 degrees Celsius.
Videology's 20B44 is well-suited for surveillance applications. Its sensitivity is 1.4 lux. The camera's tiny size allows it to fit into small, covert housings like outlet covers or doorbells. It is equally suited for installation inside or outside a vehicle, inside an exposed, exterior surveillance dome, or integrated into any equipment which must regularly tolerate high temperatures--the 20B44 can meet spec up to 80° C / 176° F and operate to 105° C / 194° F storage temperatures. The 20B44's color fidelity rivals that of today's best CCDs.
It's ability to withstand vibration has made the 20B44 the camera of choice for automotive
and test equipment applications, while the 20B44's low power consumption makes the camera
attractive for battery operated applications.
A twisted pair balanced video output option makes the 20B44 CMOS camera a cost effective solution using Cat 5 cable, eliminating the expense of COAX cables. The 20B44 comes standard with NTSC/PAL (true two field) analog composite video output.
