201 camera series: OEM/ODM ready IP board camera

Written by Derya Yoruk | Feb 28, 2024 6:07:00 PM

We are introducing a new 200-camera series, the first camera in the line-up will be the 201-IP-462, a single board, color IP camera. The camera has Full HD 1080p image resolution with the powerful 1/2.8" Sony IMX462 STARVIS 2MP image sensor at its core.

Compact Design, Strong Low Light Performance

Measuring just 38x38x6,7mm (1.5x1.5x0.26"), the 201-IP-462 combines a small board size with exceptional capabilities. With its compact design, the camera is perfectly suited for applications that require a small form factor without compromising performance. The camera is compatible with pinhole, M12, and CS lens mounts.

With an ultra low light sensitivity up to ~0.001Lux, the camera has good low light performance, capturing color details in extremely low light conditions or no light.

Low latency and faster frame rates

With a latency of less than ~150ms, users can expect real-time video streaming without any noticeable delay on the camera side. This is especially important in applications that require immediate monitoring and response, such as security surveillance or live video streaming.

The high performing image signal processor of 201-IP-462 supports 1080p H.264, H.265, and MJPEG video encoding and decoding capability up to 60fps. Along with the 2.9µm pixel size, the camera has advanced image enhancement and noise reduction capabilities. The 201-IP-462 captures smooth and fluid video footage, ensuring that no crucial details are missed.

Develop and deploy applications easily and quickly

Equipped with an embedded quad-core, 64-bit RISC-V processor and a dedicated video pipeline, the 201-IP-462 camera supports easy and quick application development for system designers and developers, resulting in accelerated time to market.

Direct connectivity to any DHCP-enabled network over HTTP, RTSP, or STATIC IP protocols provides flexible connectivity and results in many benefits across wide applications of secure monitoring and surveillance via network (LAN or WAN).

Other features of 201-IP-462 that cannot go unnoticed

  • Digital ePTZ support: A moveable cropped area can be panned (horizontal movement) or tilted (vertical movement) digitally.

  • Micro SD Card Slot and GPIO Pins: With a micro SD card slot and 4 GPIO pins, the camera offers convenient onboard storage options and enhanced connectivity, allowing for easy access to footage whenever needed.
  • Fast Ethernet Connectivity: For transmission distances up to 100m (∼328 feet).

  • RTSP Video Streaming: This allows for low-latency and high-quality streaming, as it can adjust the bitrate and resolution of the media stream according to the bandwidth and device capabilities. RTSP also supports authentication and encryption, which enhances the security and privacy of video streaming.

  • NDAA Compliance: Committed to security and compliance, our camera adheres to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) standards, ensuring the highest level of security and protection for your system.
