Latency

Another critical metric for ITS camera solutions and applications is the latency of the system. Namely, the time it takes to respond and process video data and provide information. The end-to-end system, starting from latency in the camera to the latency in the network and client side, must have low values. Videology block cameras have latency <1 fps, which is as low as 33ms, depending on the chosen frame rate and complexity of the image processing features. An optimum fusion ratio is applied when combining the high-speed shutter used in bright areas and the low-speed shutter used in dark areas. 

DNR technology, on the other hand, eliminates noise thus generating a distinct and clear image. Zoom block camera`s DNR function utilizes both an adaptive 2D filter reducing noise in the brightness
of the image and an adaptive 3D filter reducing noise caused by movement.
